Join us at Walnut Grove Plantation for a cooking demonstration by renowned culinary historian Michael Twitty of African-American Culinary Traditions!  The event will also feature a performance by local storyteller Evelyn Parks, and John Thomas Fowler will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, "Trotting Sally."

The book signing will be from 12 - 1, the cooking demonstration from 1 - 2, and the storytelling from 2 - 2:30.

Lunch will be available for purchase through a partnership with Butterfly Foundation, a local non-profit.
