Six Wofford men served in the 32nd "Red Arrow" Infantry Division of the Michigan-Wisconsin National Guard in the Pacific Theater of World War II. This unit saw some of the fiercest jungle fighting of the war and sustained one of its highest casualty rates. Join Joe H. Camp, author of 32 Answered: A South Carolina Veterans' Story, to learn how he was inspired to write their stories and those of twenty-six additional South Carolinians who were also discovered to have served in the 32nd. Camp, a Greenwood native, has a Ph.D. in U.S. History from West Virginia University and has taught at both the community college and university levels.
