Join Spartanburg County Historical Association and Frieda Davison on May 27 12:30-1:30 for a discussion of More Than a Name, Davison's book about Duncan Park's Veterans Memorial and the 641 men listed there.
Davison is the current Dean of Libraries at USC Upstate and holds degrees from Clinch Valley College, the University of Kentucky and Columbia University. Before she arrived at USC Upstate, she held positions at the University of Kentucky, East Tennessee State University, Columbia University, San Francisco State University and Mississippi University for Women. She is also a member and past regent of the Kate Barry Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Lunch & Learns are held in the Callie and John Rainey Conference Room in the west wing of Chapman Cultural Center.
Catered lunches will be available through Palmetto Palate, reserved in advance through our gift shop. Tickets and a limited number of lunches will be available at the door.
