Walnut Grove on the March

  • Walnut Grove Plantation 1200 Otts Shoals Rd Roebuck, SC, 29376 United States

If you were among those disappointed that Festifall 2015 had to be cancelled due to an historic weather event, take heart!  Walnut Grove Plantation's annual March event is being expanded to include many of the events scheduled for Festifall.  Be there as over 100 re-enactors, storytellers and artisans transform the 1767 homestead into a living colonial village. The event begins on Saturday March 5 and continues through Sunday March 6 with music, toy making, cooking, weaving, woodworking, basketry, candle dipping, and much more!  Historic re-enactments of loyalist partisan William Cunningham's deadly 1781 raid on the Plantation will also take place on both days and are not to be missed.
