2016 Summer Camps

In Your Backyard- June 13-17, 9:00am-3:00pm

This summer camp is a comprehensive look at the archaeological, botanical, and architectural history in Spartanburg County. Each of these three components work together to give your student a sense of community and history that has developed in Spartanburg County. Enrollment Fee: $100 per camper

American Girls- June 27- July 1, 9:00am-12:00pm

Pack your American Girl Doll for a camp celebrating American Girl history! Each day will focus on a different American Girl and how her experiences compare with girls growing up in the South Carolina Upstate during the same time period.
Enrollment Fee: $60 per camper

Camp Courage- July 11-15, 9:00am-3:00pm

This summer camp focuses on military history and how it effected the citizens of various countries. Of course, there will be emphasis given to Spartanburg's own military training camps, Wadsworth and Croft. Each day will cover a new war in detail. Everything from the battlefront to the home front is discussed with artifacts and photos for your student to examine. There will be visits to our historic sites so your students will get a chance to explore.
