The Regional History Museum offers programs for school groups at a variety of grade levels that are targeted toward the state educational standards.  New programs for school groups are being added all the time. Tours of the Museum and Traveling trunks are currently available.  The trunks are "Colonial Kids" and "Military History: The American Revolution, World War I, and World War II."  They use reproduction objects, photographs, and documents from our collection to illustrate social studies curriculum in the classroom.  The cost is $30 to check the trunk out for a week.  Call 864-596-3501 or email njefferies@spartanburghistory.org for information, to request a trunk on a different topic, and for trunk reservations.
