Overview | Collections | Offerings Regional History Museum - OfferingsSchool ProgramsThe Regional History Museum offers programs for school groups at a variety of grade levels that are targeted toward the state educational standards. New programs for school groups are being added all the time. Tours of the Museum and Traveling trunks are currently available. The trunks are "Colonial Kids" and "Military History: The American Revolution, World War I, and World War II." They use reproduction objects, photographs, and documents from our collection to illustrate social studies curriculum in the classroom. The cost is $30 to check the trunk out for a week. Call 864-596-3501 or email njefferies@spartanburghistory.org for information, to request a trunk on a different topic, and for trunk reservations. Historic Stained Glass Ornament Series
For the past 19 years, the Regional History Museum has presented a unique stained glass ornament that recognizes a significant, historic structure in Spartanburg County. Each of these beautiful ornaments is available for sale in the gift shop at the History Museum or they can be ordered by mail by contacting the museum (864-596-3501; njefferies@spartanburghistory.org).
