Volunteer

Volunteers are valuable members of the Spartanburg County Historical Association team! We are always looking for volunteers to and interns to help us lead tours, take care of the properties, and an assist with a variety of projects at the museum and the historic properties. If you are interested in getting involved as a volunteer, please fill out the form in the link below.

Volunteer Today
  • Museum Docent (includes light housekeeping)
  • Repository Assistant (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
  • Repository Clerk includes labeling, filing, scanning (must have comfort level with computers)
  • Grounds keeping Volunteer: grass cutting, pruning, light tree maintenance
  • Seay House Docent (mainly outdoor, some housekeeping, includes steps/bending, litter pickup)
  • Special Event Volunteer: guest check-in, craft/activity table
  • Special Event Services Volunteer: litter pickup/ trash duty, hourly bathroom service, parking attendance
