Presented by: Ray Trail. Join us to learn about Spartanburg’s Rock Cliff Park (1906-1919). How it began, what was there, the impact on the city and why it closed.

Ray Trail is the Former Director of Spartanburg County DSS- retired, former Board Chair of the City of Spartanburg Historic architectural Review Board. For several years he has been researching Rock Cliff park using SCPL’s digital archives, Converse library, library of Congress, numerous Spartanburg history books, maps, deed records and surveys.

There are a limited number of seats, be sure to register in advance (even members!)

Admission: $5 for non-members / Free for SCHA members.
