Our Homeschool Field Trip Days invite students of all ages to learn, explore, and make new friends—no large group or planning required. Just sign up, show up, and enjoy an educational day designed especially with homeschoolers in mind.

Explore Cherokee history during a time of profound change and learn how the Cherokee people navigated relationships with South Carolinians and the British, responded to the American Revolution, and adapted to the emergence of the United States.
This program is presented by Dr. Alice Taylor-Colbert, a historian specializing in the American South and Cherokee Studies, and is sponsored by South Carolina Humanities.
Lunch and Learn is sponsored by the Chapman Cultural Center
There are a limited number of seats, be sure to register in advance (even members!)
Admission: $5 for non-members / Free for SCHA members.
